Interior of the HIRES Microwave Adsorption System Oven
This photo was taken to illustrate the simple lighting method used to photograph the glass adsorption vessel within an industrial CEM microwave oven. There are five orifices with chokes on the top of the oven where non-metallic objects may be introduced. The chokes prevent microwave radiation from escaping the oven and into the room.
